Don't donate. Just get yourself a seedbox. For 6 euro you can get a seedbox for a month and you will easily improve your ratio.

Once you have your seedbox, jump on any new torrent (the big Blu-ray torrents are the best) and then upload the .torrent file to your seedbox. It's pretty easy, it's all done via a web interface. Then just let it run for 30 days. You will have 1 TB of storage space so you can download a bunch of torrents.
I do this every couple of years and get my TTD and Dimeadozen ratio up.
