The only good things about bt.etree were that it didn't require registration to download torrents and people knew about it. When I tape a show it's easy to say "it'll be on etree in a day or two" when someone asks about getting a copy of a recording. If they start to require people to sign up then it'll lose the only thing that made it unique and I won't have any reason to use it.
