it depends if the dvd yer copying was burnt using the DVD-Video format, or a ISO/UDF format...preferable to archive and trade in the ISO/UDF formats because yer strictly dealing with data..."DVD-Video" burnt shows [much like a commercial DVD] must be extracted...this is where possible "degradation" can occur...
