we don't allow lossy sources here in our ABT forum, sorry

as for surround sound formats, there are tons of them...here's a quick list:

the most common you see in trading circles [usually DVDs] are usually encoded to AC3 or DTS...that said, if yer interested in creating lossless audio surround mixes, you'll need to stick with either Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio...but remember that yer sources have to be lossless as well
