so, i have yet to buy/use blu-ray....

are there any blu-ray players that handle .AVI files from dvdr?

i use cheap philips DVD players > they play all kinds of funky formats,
from PAL to .AVI files burned to dvdr.

as most of you know, not all dvd players play these things.
(it's usually the cheap ones that are the most versatile!)

has this been observed in the blu-ray player world?
