^that's exactly how I see it.

I looked at it in b&w zoomed to 2 seconds and scrolled thru the entire sample in this view looking for lego to no avail. I also listened to it and didn't hear hear the swish on the cymbals that normally tips me off. The cutoff is steep as hell (as we already knew) and in about the right place for this to be 32kHz DAT, but it looks too straight to be 32kHz DAT, in that case the "haircut" would have some stubble.

There is something very fishy with this one but I cannot find any direct evidence of lossy encoding here. I would continue to seek an alternate source and only trade this show one-on-one with others & including this information about the suspicious nature of the FA/SA.

here is a b&w SA showing the closest thing to blocks I could find along the top there.
