Had this idea today, wondered what others think, here is the scenario....
Ok, I put together a custom made DVD of a Live show and want to share it
with fans on the TTD. My first suggestion would be to have control over the
torrent so if there is a problem with it, and can just edit the page like you
can at bt.etree.org and just check a box to delete the entire post and torrent
for the server. Then my second thought is, to be able to remove the torrent
later down the line when there are just a few people left, and lock it, so no
one can download it, but the thread could stay up, and I could offer B&P for
late comers, but still let the final few people finish their download up. I think
the original seeder has the right to retract their offer of a seed, as well as
post a seed. This way you don't keep getting these stragglers coming in, and
always needing a window (seed) opened up, seems like countless amount of
times I've had to reseed. just kinda thought some more control over it might
help things, because once its out to the masses, I'd have no problem with
a handful of B&P's if those people in return would share in the B&P section to
others who can't download huge DVD torrents. what do you all think ???
