Good question and while we are talking about this, what about HD sourced DVD's? In the High Definition Video BitTorrent Seeding Policy it states:
4. No Transcoded or Re-Encoded high definition videos are allowed.
We do not allow any high definition video to be seeded that have been recompressed in any way. This includes any:

Blu-ray / high definition .ts > DVD.
but I have seen some of these HD sourced DVD's here at TTD (like
this one for example). So my question is, do we need to ask for permission for each upload?
