It might help to know what you recorded them on, if they are still in the original format that they were recorded in (Cassette, DAT, etc), and what other audio gear you have available at the moment.

As a for instance, if you have put them on CD, but you still have original cassettes, the best method is to use the original cassette with a digital recorder to generate the files - no point in going via CD if there's no need to. But much will depend on what you have available, gear-wise
