Re: music to post

I'm assuming your audio is on CD. Here are the programs I would use:

1. EAC - use this to rip your CD to a WAV file on your computer
http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/

2. CDWav - If you need to split your WAV file into multiple tracks then use this program
http://www.milosoftware.com/cdwave/

Use Windows Explorer to rename all your .WAV files in a readable way (take a look how other people have done it).

3.Trader's Little Helper - This program will convert the WAV files into FLAC
http://tlh.easytree.org/

4. Foobar2000 - Once you have FLAC files, load them all into Foobar2000 and then tag them (i.e. add track numbers, artist, track names as meta data)
https://www.foobar2000.org/

5. Create a text file that lists information such as Date, Artist, Venue, Recording Information, Transfer Information, Generation, Track Listing, comments. Take a look at existing torrents on this site to see what is expected.
You can use Windows Notepad or Notepad++ (Don't use Microsoft Word)
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/

6. Use Trader's Little Helper to create .md5 and .ffp checksums for your FLAC and .txt file

7. Use Trader's Little Helper to create a .torrent file

8. Upload the resulting .torrent file to The Traders' Den
