I have no idea what that stuff is. How do I find? If you guys don't know or are tired of helping me don't worry about it. I'll just go get a new burner.
For future references, I have a laptop. Is it better to have an external burner, or should I have an internal one installe?
Thanks again
Also, should I run the USB interface firmware upgrade or just the main firmware upgrade listed

(1) Do not run the USB interface firmware upgrade.
(2) You're using the 700UL version and not the 700A version, so ignore
disable [DMA Setting]. Also ignore
uninstall any packet writing software ... .
(3) I recommend that you close a) your anti-virus/firewall program(s) and b) your screensaver (if any) before upgrading the firmware. Then execute the Sony updater and do as described in the .pdf file. Do not use other programs as long as the the upgrading procedure is running.
(4) Re-boot after the upgrade, re-start anti-virus/firewall/screensaver, and test your burning device.
