Question Old Trader seeks advise to not screw up and get kicked outta here

I am an old trader and sometimes show recorder from decades ago. Was very active on Yahoo trading groups during the days of B&P, trees and vines. And taped some of my own shows with minidisc for trades as well.

I have folders of shows and recordings I'd like to share. But I don't have the full providence and background on them. I am familiar with EAC and dbPoweramp and several other programs over the years.

You may have known me as Indiana or gdubya in the trading groups or such.

So could someone post me a quick tutorial or outline on the do's and don'ts of putting together stuff for upload? There seems to be so much detail, I'm just getting a bit lost in it.

I don't want to be a leech, but I also want to be cool and upload some of my stuff without being hassled for doing it incorrectly.

And yeah, I do understand the difference between lossless and MP3. And respect what I seem to gather that this site is about only lossless.

I've got several of those huge case logic folders full of CDs I traded for, all those years ago. And a maybe a couple of plastic tubs of the same in my garage. (yeah, I was a vacuum for the stuff back in the day). And they should likely be pulled and extracted and shared. I used to keep lists, but it got unwieldy and in the way of actual collecting, so I never cataloged everything.

The other thing is, with so much stuff, I can't listen to everything I have before sharing it, or I'll have over 10,000 hours of being an expert listener to get that accomplished. At my age, I don't have time to listen to everything I have at this point.

So can and admin reach out to me with a little generalized thumbnail of what I might do to get some of this stuff online? I did all kinds of trading from directly with individuals person to person, acquaintances and friends, to the forums for mail trades. And of course torrents, but that's a different thing to speak to.

Help me out please. Guide this old trader a little so I can upload some stuff.

Thanks,
gdubya
