The lossless codecs HD DVD will support are 2 channel LPCM, 2 channel MLP and DTS HD. The audio codecs for Blu-ray has not yet been decided.

I'm a bit suprised that HD DVD will not support multichannel LPCM/MLP like DVD-Audio.
