It may be too many peers per torrent for your router to handle that's causing your connection to drop. Try reducing the max number of peers per torrent. In uTorrent go to Preferences (the big gear icon, or in options), then BitTorrent, then maximum number of connected peers per torrent (reduce this to 30 or 20).
