How many USB ports do you have?
And which ones are powered?
Have you tried unistalling your USB ports and rebooting to reinstall them?
Is there a dust bunny in your USB port?
Have you updated the USB drivers?
Is it USB 1.1 or 2.0?
Did you check Windows help data base?
Are the USB ports motherboard or add-in card based?
Have you cleaned the inside of your PC?
Just going over the things I'd do in this situation. Your motherboard may be going bad or the add-in card may be loose.
