So I've had a Macbook for about two months now and for the past two weeks or so (at least that is when I started to notice it) I have been having a problem. The first symptom of the problem is that when I close the lid of the computer to put it to sleep, it get really hot and the battery drains rapidly (this morning it had 100% charge and by the time I got to work 20 minutes later it was down to 90% while in sleep mode). The second, and presumably related part of this is that sometimes when I try to shut down the thing freezes up on the last screen with a spinning beach ball and never turns off. Has anyone had this happen to them?
