TLH should give you a file that ends on .ffp for the fingerprints. You may open that up in a text editor and copy/paste the contents (if you asked for shntool st5s, you would get a file that ends in .st5 which you may also open up in a text editor).
In order to not get that error, you need to stop the torrent, remove it from your bittorrent client, then download the torrent from the thread and seed with that one. This may help -
