go to your local goodwill & get a used cd walkman... I saw a very slim sony cd walkman with memory buffer to resist skipping & remote control & headphones for $8.99 the other day. maybe you can find something similar used where you live. Then use that until you save up enough money to get a good mp3-style walkman that also plays lossless. Again, look in the used stores for last year's model and save something like 50% off the new price.
