I have another suggestion in line with those per-user settings as pointed by J.C.
I don't think I've ever seen a feature like this on other forums, but, anyway... here it is:
Let the user customize his/her smilies quick/short list, either selecting them from the TTD smilies pool, or... uploading their own (
).
What do you think? Interesting or bollocks?
