Verbatim DVD+R DL are the best dual layer discs made, and Taiyo Yuden DVD+R 8X discs [model # (YUDEN000T02) ] are the best single layer discs. Taiyo Yuden makes the best CD-Rs as well. DVD+Rs are better than DVD-Rs. You can get Verbatims on www.newegg.com and Taiyo Yuden on www.supermediastore.com You might be able to find the Verbatims on supermediastore as well.

Mitsui (MAM-A) GOLD are the best CDR media (gold never oxidizes). If you buy silver discs, you are just throwing your money away.
