a dual layer burn can be a burden to a workstation - it needs 15-25 mins of steady CPU resources.
1. reboot your machine before a burn ( clear out memory )
2. dont try running any other software during the burn / turn off your IM stuff
3. check your hard drive / optimise your hard drive (defrag)
4. memory (RAM) might need upgrade
