I've been trying to convert some 24/48 audio to 16/44.1, but I keep getting prompted that I'm missing the appropriate 'Microsoft PCM format (1)' codec. I've had a search around and I've found this Codec Pack:

I was just wondering if anyone has installed this pack, and if it's all cool? It seems like a lot to install just for one codec that I need. Also, I have a horrible feeling that it might be a bit dodgy, so I thought I'd ask here.
