Assuming you get no error messages with Nero & dvd burning rom is set to dvd video and you drag the video ts file into the red video ts file then I would switch media brands.
Verbatim DVD DL -R x4 x8 are the best blank media. Taiyo Yuden have fianlly released a DVD DL-R x8 but I am waiting for these to arrive.
I had all sorts of problems with a new laptop burning dvd coasters. I switched software & even got a new DVD burner under warranty to find I had no more problems when I switched to Taiyo DVDs.
