A torrent file divides a show into 1 or 2 MB pieces. Each of these pieces are seeded independently. Any change to a text, checksum or shntool file will throw the hash check of one of those pieces off. Since text files are less than a MB in size, they are generally added to the last piece of one of the music files. In effect you have one piece that will not seed and unless someone with the original seed jumps on to help out, you are pretty much shit out of luck.
