Yeah, I don't understand why folks just let their torrent download to some default location! I assign every downloaded torrent I get to save to a specific location of my own choosing, so this is never a problem for me...
But yes, you should either be able to have the torrent program recognize your files in a new path in a new location. In my uTorrent, left click on the torrent and under "Advanced" you can "set download location". It's been a while since I did it, but I think uTorrent will automatically move the files to the new location. If not, stop uploading for a minute, move the files manually, and then use the "set download location" to point to the new place. Force a re-check, and it should show 100% complete. If not, it's pointing to the wrong new location.... Good luck!
