Firewall/Port Forward Question

Sorry if this has been answered before.

I think I'm firewalled. My connection is a wifi connection via some unknown wireless server/router. I've checked and it looks like I'm firewalled because it can't "see me". I'm using ABC [Yet Another Bittorrent Client] 3.1. I can't set up the router, because I don't have access to it.

Once a torrent file completes downloading, it stops seeding. I have ABC set up to upload infinitely, so that's not the problem. I've tried opening the port that ABC is currently using (under Preferences/Network). I've also tried going to Preferences/Network/Advanced and entering my IP Address under "Local IP". I've tried setting up my Windows Firewall to open the ABC port and/or allow ABC to bypass the Windows Firewall. I've even tried shutting off my Windows Firewall but to no avail.

Any suggestions? Is this a situation where there's nothing I can do about it?

Thanks in advance.
