I disagree...as a taper, I wouldn't have a problem with you re-tracking or even remastering a show of mine for your own personal pleasure. But if you want to re-track/remaster a show that you did not tape, but want to trade...you should contact the taper (more often than not you can locate them from the info file) and ask for permission.
