Thanks for the "I love xavier242" thread!

Why I'm stepping down from Primary Admin. My health issues:

My doctors have not been able to give me a prognosis. Because my condition is so rare, they have nothing to base a prognosis on. Due to a rare complication of an ischemic stroke I suffered in 2017, I'm bleeding internally from an artery in my chest.

The day of the stroke, I clearly felt a clot go into an artery near my sternum, move a little every few minutes, and after moving about 3 inches, the artery ruptured at the clot. No doctor or nurse believed me. 3 weeks later it clotted, but began bleeding again on March 22, 2024 and hasn't stopped.

My prior PCP tried to get exploratory surgery done in 2017 but my insurance company would not approve it because they said my incident was impossible. My new PCP researched it and found such a rupture is possible. The Mayo Clinic triage specialist I spoke with confirmed it as well.

I searched internal bleeding artery and the best I can determine is I may have only a few weeks left without surgery. No local ER or hospital will do a simple test (paracentesis) to confirm I'm telling the truth. I now have pronounced uneven physical distention from my abdomen. My right lung is collapsing. I have severe shortness of breath. I feel the bleeding, pressure, burning, and pain all the time now.

I'm trying to get an appointment at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL. I spoke with them and sent various tests and a detailed summary to them. I'm waiting to hear back. Hopefully they can help me.

If anyone has an advanced research Hospital in their city like the Mayo Clinic that may be able to help me, please send me a PM.

And hopefully someone can take my "TTD reimagined research and ideas" and run with them.

Thanks for the "I love xavier242" thread! I still have no idea what it's about.
