Weird video anomaly

I access a remote computer at work from my home PC via Fortinet VPN and Remote Desktop. Yesterday out of the blue I started getting these graphic anomalies (always the same). They appear in any white space that don't have text or other graphics.

I've attached a photo because if you take a screenshot, they don't appear in the graphics file.

I've updated all my windows updates and updated my graphics card.

I have a laptop and it doesn't happen when I access using that laptop.

To be clear, I only have this issue when viewing the remote desktop, not when I'm viewing my local computer.

I'm guessing it's something with the video card?

I'm going to buy a new computer (this one is 6 year old) if I can't figure it out.
