Nowadays it is much easier to shape the sound in live mode, the sound from the can always.
Don't say anything against Foobar
, it is one of the few HiFi-compatible players under Windows, so you can directly address the corresponding sound drivers. Foobar plays almost all valid audio formats, also SACD, DVDA.
