I can not get firefox to work on my machine all the sudden so google chrome is all I got. I can not get google chrome to download the seeded torrent I post. When I do it acts as if I am just downloading the file.. Any ideas.

Download it with what ever you want...then open with your torrent client.

It sounds to me like your file associations are messed up.

WIN7 - control panel>Programs>Make a filetype always open in a specific program

browse to torrent. change whatever is there to utorrent. click always open with this program box.

Older versions of uTorrent (like v2.2.1 build 25273) doesn't have ads...

What was said about file associations is true. Also, just downloading and saving the .torrent file, and opening it yourself with your torrent program of choice will work, too...
