Taking sequential screenshots from a single performance:
http://i549.photobucket.com/albums/ii373/matthughen/DizzyGillespie1968TivoliKoncertsalCopenhagenDenmark.jpg
The program listed in that upper right hand of that pic is a PC program.
First: What is the option/command called that makes those sequential pictures?
Second: Is there a MAC equivalent to make such pics?
TIA

I have used Instant Shot
It takes the whole screen shot with the Video screen.
So it requires a little bit of cropping. It has a timer and other features.

Thanks BM. Unfortunately I am not running Lion. Dont know if I can run it efficiently on my laptop.
Looks like I want timed screen shots, though. That is progress.

That is a feature of Media Player Classic. (in watermark above)
1) play video with media player classic.
2) pause the video, click file, click save thumbnails and save it.
I believe VLC does the same thing also.

My version of VLC does take screenshots but not at regular intervals and organized like the one above.
Looks like "screen grabber" does it, but I dont wanna pay 3bucks cuz I am a cheap bastard.

Media Player Classic is free. It is also my preferred media player.

Looks like they don't make a mac version. Maybe it's worth playing with wine??

Have you searched VideoHelp.com? For example:

There is older version 2.5 on that site that will work from 10.4 to 10.6.x

Thanks for the heads-up BM, I missed the 2.5 version first time around. I have grabbed it and am playing around with it, but its falling a little short.
