I'm guessing that you didn't record it? Otherwise why not just upload 24/96 flacs and let folks decide how they want to listen to them.

Either way, I'd be interested in how you get on.

Well .. yeah ... I did record it.

- Some people may not know how to make or even know about the A-DVD .. I prefer them myself , but if and only if you have it chaptered by song .. I roll like that .. it's a bigger fuller sound than that of the CD ..
of course .. with the higher Hz and bit rate ...
What's not to like..right ? ..

It would go in the Audio Bit Torrent section. There's no DVD section, it's a Video Bit Torrent section.

Make sure to remember to designate it as 24 bit when uploading.

Agreed. What I meant was that I listen my music from my pc, through my 24/96 soundcard and out to my hi-fi, so I am unsure of what is involved in authoring to DVD-A, rather than just seeding 24/96 flacs. I didn't mean burning to cd.

I try to download 24 bit recordings when they are made available and now always seed both 24 and 16 bit versions of my own recordings.

Well, for one thing .. it makes it mobile ..so that you can take the disc to any room or anywhere and play it instead of just the one room where your p.c. is hooked-up with your sound-system. What if you have a DVD player in your car .. an A-DVD would come in handy to me ... 8)
Cheers!

imo
i would seed the a-dvd and the "regular" audio files
the last thing you want is people converting stuff if they don't have too and the best way for them not to have to is by supplying it for them

The one big advantage of seeding flacs is that the file set will be approx half the size of an authored dvd. That might be important to some people with limited bandwidth,

Well , actually .. w/ an Audio/DVD it's not quite like that .. for example:
Robert Plant & Band Of Joy is 3.31 GB's and after authoring it it came out to being 3.50 GB ...
So it's actually not that much bigger ..
