I am having trouble streaming Blu Ray - .m2ts files using PS3 media server. I have no problem finding the folders but when I play the file, it is really choppy and hardly loads. Is there anything I need to do for it to stream well? I can stream VIDEO_TS files easily and avi, just not Blu Ray.

BTW im trying to stream the 12/31/2010 HarpuaFSB

Can anyone help me out with this?

attempting to stream a 50GB bluray file is unrealistic at this point in time.
you'll need to play it locally from a PC wrkstn > HDMI cable > HDTV

I realize that now

So I am going to try and stream it through my external HD. But I need to split up the 12GB m2ts files into 4GB files so it will play on ps3. Im looking for some mac software to do this but cant really find any. Any suggestions?

Im looking for some mac software to do this but cant really find any. Any suggestions?if you're going to hook a Mac directly to a HDTV you'll be fine. I'm out of the loop as to what software to recommend for .m2ts playback on OSX, but I'm certain VLC is an option to try.

I just wanted to see if there was anyway to use my External HD, instead of going out and buying a HDMI adapter.

yeah, you could plug your external hard drive into one of these (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Western+Digital+-+WD+TV+Live+Plus+HD+Media+Player/9945474.p?id=1218208054702&skuId=9945474&st=WD TV&cp=1&lp=1)

..still gonna need an HDMI cable.
