Hey,

I just finished downloading:

The Who - The Capitol Centre, Largo, MD 08-04-76 Remastered 2CD AUD

I'm leaving it open to seed to others but I have not seeded a single kb of the torrent. Under Peers, it says (0) 10 in uTorrent. Does it mean there are 10 people downloading this torrent and I'm not seeding to any of them?

I used canyouseeme.org (or was it .com?) and my ports are open. In uTorrent, I have a green light signaling my "network connection is working properly." I would like to maintain a 1:1 ratio.

Any help?
Thanks

These are the stats on that show:
The Who 1976-08-04 Taking The Capitol! (Part II), The Capitol Centre, Largo, MD Remastered (FLAC) (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=87625)
16/0/140

That means 16 seeders and 0 leechers. There is nobody for you to share the show with at this time.

I tried downloading a different concert that had a large amount of leechers.

http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=86769

According to the latest refresh of that page, there are 69 seeders and 21 leechers. The download finished a while ago. I've been seeding for about 2 hours, and haven't even reached 4mb yet. In my uTorrent window, it says Peers: 0 (21).

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I purposely picked a concert that had many leechers, thinking this would solve my problem.

Any suggestions?

you're fine. its more the fact that there at nearly 70 seeders to the 20some leechers.
just keep your torrent window open and it will all work out

A suggestion that might help if you happen to be using µTorrent (or another client that implements uTP). Put a low number for your upload max, but uncheck "Apply rate limit to uTP connections" in Options->Preferences->Bandwidth. Maybe the TCP-IP congestion control is less objectionable to my DSL ISP, but whatever the reason I am getting much better overall upload bandwidth since I did this myself.

They still firewall me when they get pissed, but on a per-site basis.
