you could spend $200 on a 64GB Flash drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233121) or $40 on a 120GB portable hard disk (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136606)

thanks for offering a drink

Wolf, would that 40 dollar drive be able to be used by both Mac n Pc users?

yes. if you leave the drive formatted NTFS- use a utility such as:

you can try zipping it thru multiple dvd-r (and then cross the fingers for the receiver not getting crc errors when unzippping)

If you have good upload speed you can try Mediafire (www.mediafire.com), Opera Browser via Opera Unite or make a private torrent. You can also split your files with a compression tool and write them on DVD.

Why bother? If the shows are in DVD format, just divide up the files and burn
as data discs. The recipient can put them back together.......

drives are already being sent around but yes Showtaper that would have been the wisest way to travel...Where were you when we were trying to think through this man?

If you want suggestion for a split tool, Ive used HJSplit (http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/) successfully several times, for example someone i knew had dial-up and couldnt download huge files without choking the connection (and she couldnt use torrents either, because it would also choke her connection, or I would have made a private torrent). Its fairly small so you can just stick it on the last disk or something.

Private torrent is the best way, I do it all the time.Easy, free, private,no share ratio.

you can buy two 32GB SD cards or a 64GB SD card, you can pretty much find them anywhere. Some places will be expensive, but ive seen them as cheap as $50
