ive just registered , and when i tried a D/L .. it said i wasn't logged in . can anyone tell me why ?

Well, you are obviously logged in. Perhaps you were in a forum that is closed to you? Can you explain better what you did? What client are you using? What is the link to the thread you were trying to download from?
