"Ghost" leechers that don't show up on tracker ?

I'm currently seeding this torrent:

but the one peer to which I'm uploading doesn't show on the
tracker. I waited a while thinking that maybe the display was lagging
some, but after a couple hours, it's still not there. Anybody else seen this
or know what might cause it ?

No, but if the torrents are flagged as private, I shouldn't have to.

Aha, this particular torrent isn't marked as private for some reason.

After checking further, I found several more torrents from this site that aren't flagged as private. Anybody know what the official policy on this is ?

We ask that users make their torrents private. However, I don't kick out out torrents that are not private.

Do seeders still get credited for the upload to peers that come in under the radar ?

If they're not running thru the tracker, no credit will be issued for them.
