PS3 dvd+r playback issues only first track!

I am having problems with the playback on the first track on the redrocks phish run. the issue is only with track one and according to the torrent thread im not the only other person experiencing the problem. so im posting here wondering if anyone else who maybe hasnt been in that thread has experienced the same problem and or maybe found a solution. again this is only on the first track and not just for me and not just for a one time burn. any info apprecaited thanks in advance.

the ps3 drive is of notoriously cheap quality. playing dvds on it racks up the hours of life it has previous to failure. the hours rack up more slowly playing games since the drive is not always spinning. don't play dvds on it!

most probably central to the playback problem is that the ps3 is not specifically designed for this purpose... does playback work properly on your computer?

Sure does work in the pc and in other dvd players as well. I didnt realize it would be such a harship for the ps3 to play dvds.. bummer thanks for the info though.
