hey if I want loseless audio on my dvd, it has to be wav format 44k and 16bit right?

My wav files currently are in 48k 16bit... I converted them from FLAC files that I got from this site.

Is it better to convert my 48k wav files to 44k? Or should I directly convert the FLAC files to 44k wav format? Whats the difference?

I'm sure one of the DVD-oriented people will chime in, but I think you need 48K for DVD anyway. So you won't need to downsample it.

DVD is 48khz, no need to downsample. 44.1khz is for CD audio, so any 44.1 files you'll have to upsample. There are lots of freeware programs out there that can accomplish this for you.
