Okay, so I have an authored DVD on a folder on the desktop. And I decided to copy/paste it to My Videos. But whenever I try, it says "Destination Folder Access Denied."

So I tried moving it to a different folder for a test. Same thing.

So I tried taking ownership of the DVD folder. No such luck. Also tried the destination folder.

Suggestions?

Edit: Should mention other folders on the desktop (ones created myself) moved. So I guess the DVD authoring program (Avi2DVD) which automatically made the folder has something to do with it.

Have you tried to reboot?

No. I hardly ever reboot.

According to task manager, it's been 17 days since my last reboot (which was for Windows Updates).

I run xp, so I am not sure if this application will help. It has saved me from major frustration on more than a few occasions. Best of all, it is freeware!
