Audio Editor?

Not sure if anyone can help me with this one, not sure if this has already been asked.


But can anyone recommend a programm i can use to convert FLAC files to MP3 and cut them down in length/filesize to use as audio previews for uploading Audio to the forum.

Traders Little Helper will convert flac to mp3, and (I think) audacity will allow you to snip sections out of the mp3 to provide samples - either that or snip a section out of the flac, then use TLH to convert that flac to mp3.

Audacity will do the whole job for you, you can export a snippet as mp3 very easily, as long as you have a suitable encoder (lame) installed.
