Firewalled - only here though - SOLVED

Howdy all,

Brand spanking new here - great place though! :wave:

I started to dl a show, and it says I'm firewalled; funny thing is this is the only torrent I have running that is not uploading. I'm using Zenwalk GNU/Linux, Transmission 1.51, and have a Linksys WRT54Gv.6 router running DD-WRTv.23 SP2.

I have a few movies from Pirate Bay, and one Dead show from etree also running and they are all uploading fine. I went to canyouseeme and it says that I'm firewalled but I don't have it running atm.

And/all help is greatly appreciated, TIA

If you haven't forwarded your ports through your modem, then you will be firewalled even though you have your actual computer firewall off. Go to portforward.com and find your router on the list and follow the directions to forward your ports.

I have finally solved this. I figured out how to access the modem my router is hooked up to, and forwarded the ports on that as well as my router.

Everything is coming up perfectly now. Hopefully my ratio will begin to skyrocket!!!!
