Hi guys

I'm trying to grab the audio from a dvd, (first time Ive tried this) Ive used xmpeg to rip the audio to ac3 and wav . I dont know if I can use the wav as the base for my cd or do I need to use the ac3 and if its the ac3 adobe isnt reading it.

I downloaded a plugin thats supposed to fix this but after extracting it to the adobe instalation folder per instructions adobe still wont open the file.

others have suggested that importing the file while in multitrack view will do it but no go for me.

thanks for the help

you need to convert the file to wav. I use tmpgenc 4 express to separate the audio and video from the dvd . or just output the audio...to wav.
