I have a 1992 black sabbath show that i'm planning to seed here in the near future. The show was recorded by a radio station and an employee at the station gave this guy a casette copy of the show that he transferred to digital and encoded to flac.

i knew that the linage was like this
pre-FM > 1st gen. casette > wav > FLAC Frontend (level 8, verify) > FLAC

I wanted to have more information so i wrote the guy and asked him how he had transferred the tape to digital and this is what he wrote.

Hardware:
Cassette deck: Sony ES TC-KA1ESA (single cassette deck, one directional) - semi
pro. Used manual tracking (with screw driver) to obtain the best sound possible
for each side of the 2 cassettes.

Analog to Digital converter - pro soundcard:

Software:
Recorded in 24 bit 44.1kHz mode. Then normalized the sound to boost the volume
up to 0 db. Coverted to 16 bit 44.1kHz. All these operations were done in
SoundForge 5.

Used GoldWave 4.26 to split the tracks in CD alignment mode.

Didn't use any digital filters other than normalization.

How should i write this in the info file?

After writing the post i got the idea just to use the text the guy had given me. I put together the info file and attached it, what do you think?

The guy wanted to be credited as Leonid M.
