I downloaded this album and its just one large Flac File with a CUE file to separate the tracks. How can I burn this.

I use toast

You can either cut the FLAC according to the CUE with XLD and then burn the songs with Toast as per usual or you could try decompressing the FLAC to WAV, editing the CUE with TextEdit (don't forget to save the changes) so it points to whatever.wav rather than whatever.flac and then burning with LiquidCD (http://www.maconnect.ch/index.php?page=liquidcd). I've not used LiquidCD but apparently bugs with WAV/CUE combos have been fixed so it must at least burn those.

I reckon the total time from hitting restart in OS X to arriving at a fully functioning XP desktop is around 1 minute. Decompressing a 300MB FLAC on a decentish system is going to take around a minute at most, during which time you can perform the arduous task of editing 4 letters in a text file. As the OP uses Toast I'm going to assume he/she uses OS X as a matter of course so that's going to require another minute of reboot time after burning the disc.

I make that an overall loss of a minute, maybe 30 seconds, along with having to shutdown whatever torrents, background processes etc. the OP was running at the time, which is pretty fucking ridiculous in my neck of the woods ;)

I tried to save as a disc image file with toast but it said something like it couldn't find the bin file or something like that. I heard it was pretty easy to do with EAC so I might just download that and do it

Toast can only deal with CUE/BIN not CUE/WAV. The underscore at the beginning of the FLAC filename looks like it's replacing an illegal symbol and you should first open the CUE file with a text editor whichever method you use and check the name of the file it refers to.

Dealing with Bin/Cue Files on a Mac (http://www.command-tab.com/2005/04/10/dealing-with-bincue-files-on-a-mac/)

(but from what I've read..XP>nero would be the quick fix- if you dual boot)

Change:

PERFORMER "The Allman Brothers Band"
TITLE "At Fillmore East - Deluxe Edition (Disc 1)"
FILE "_1CDImage.flac" WAVE

to:

PERFORMER "The Allman Brothers Band"
TITLE "At Fillmore East - Deluxe Edition (Disc 1)"
FILE "_1CDImage.wav" WAVEand save the change.

Decode the FLAC to WAV with XLD or xACT and then burn with LiquidCD. I'm guessing you have to point LiquidCD at the CUE file...make sure CUE and WAV are in the same directory.

Ain't gonna work. Why do you object to LiquidCD ? It's free.

Certainly looks like an official release.

That's what I thought, too. And a member of the staff here downloaded it.
