I'm totally new to all this stuff so forgive me if this is the dumbest question ever.

If I download a video that has all the files in a VIDEO_TS folder but I don't like the DVD menu that comes with it-- is there any way to change it?

Thanks

Tmpgenc dvd author, get this software. Its the easiest one for newbies and really great too. Just because its easy to use doesn't mean its bad, Ive seen people make some kick ass menus with this that look really professional.

If you want something more advance the get DVD Lab pro, but i recommend tmpgenc

I recommend DVD Lab, very easy to use. TMPGEnc is also good

I've got a 15 day free trial of Nero. Does that do anything for me?

nero is a program that lets you burn dvds, not author them. You should get tmpgenc.

Nero has also a tool that can author DVD (don't remember the name), but usually it tries to reencode the DVD.
I also recommend TMPGEnc. The 4th version (http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/taw4.html) of this program appeared one or two weeks ago.
