Was wondering if any of y'all ever traded with this guy by the name of Preston R (his email address is [email protected]) and he is from Louisiana. Almost two weeks ago, I approached him first when I saw his post on tapecity.org and agree to do trades for 17-18 DVDs and mailed the DVDs he requested on 10/27.

Still had not received anything from him and he hasn't sent any replies to my emails since on 10/31 that he'll do them over the weekend.

I came across this site and he is now selling them:

Update: Finally got the DVDs from him, but instead of getting all 17-18 that I requested, I only got 11 >:-(

Being a little late with a trade is questionable, but selling shows is another thing entirely.

Sorry to hear that, Bridget! :(

Who knows, maybe he still delivers your stuff ... it's just two weeks since you shipped his discs.

What looks dodgy is he's SELLING this stuff. That says something about (the lack of) scrupulous of this gentleman :( It really feels sick to visit that link and finding out about he's making money from people who probably just don't know about trading or even downloading. Not nice at all.

Yes, it really made me sick to my stomach that he would do such a thing and take advantage of people who's unaware of trading :nono:

I just got a recent email from him saying that he hasn't started mine yet and that there's 8 people before me that he's working on. Will see how it goes

Aaron, in the comment section he actually gives his last name and address.

Second to last post, it lists Louisiana for the state. Ask original poster to confirm if that is the actual address she sent her discs to.

He contacted me so I made him send first. I got them and then mailed mine. Two of the discs were doubles so I asked him to resend with multiple emails. He never did. If I knew he sold discs, I never would have traded with him.

I paid for a set of 11 DVDs about four months ago, as he said nothing on my trade list was of interest to him ( he seemed to have most everything already ).
Nothing has arrived even though he keeps assuring me that he will get around to sending them soon.

I paid Preston R for 11 DVDs, However I felt uneasy at the time because he wouldn't accept PayPal, but rather insisted that I pay him by Amazon Gift Voucher. I knew it was risky at the time but decided to chance it.

I have heard this person is notoriously slow with sending out DVD's he owes via trade or purchase. I really think it is best no one here deals with him.
