i have a question about lineage, Say I grab a show from Dime, save it to my HD and then upload it a few weeks later here (directly from the HD), Am I required, or expected to add "DIME > saved to harddrive > TTD" to the lineage?

No. Since the filesets match, there is no reason to add that to the lineage...

If you add that after everytime it gets reseeded to another tracker...
DIME > saved to harddrive > TTD > harddrive > ZOMB > harddrive > LL > harddrive > Trade DVD > etc

Right... but if you changed the compression from Flac4 to Flac8, or changed them from SHN to FLAC, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to note that along with the original text files.
