hi there,

wonderful question.

I got these shows:

Lineage: My original silver 3-CD > Audiograbber [extraction controlled OK] > FLAC level 0, verified OK, SBEs aligned > DIME > U!

Burned them to an datadvd, seeing an request of the show took my dvd and
found the tracks named like this: PRINCE__2002_10_28__PARIS10.FLA.
& i found no md5-file on my disk too.

Can i rename the files, doing an md5 and seed them here?

According to the TTD Audio BitTorrent Seeding Policy (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_rules) you must use an error correcting ripper if you rip an audio CD to lossless files. Right now the only programs permitted for ripping are Exact Audio Copy (EAC), xACT, cdparanoia and PlexTools DAE. So I am not sure whether an Audiograbber rip is allowed here. But there are mods with a greater knowledge on this matter.

Rename the .fla files to .flac. Do not create a .md5 file but a .ffp file (flac fingerprint file) because the latter is requested here. Test/verify the .ffp file to check whether your source files are still error free.

If FLAC Level 0 in your lineage is not a typo I suggest you re-encode the files to level 6 or better. If you are not familiar with using the command-line and flac.exe you can use Trader's Little Helper (http://tlh.easytree.org) for on-the-fly re-encoding. Do not create a new .ffp file for the re-encoded files.

the name change to all caps & underscores has to do with the "type" of data disc you burned [i think its specific to the Joliet naming system options, or something similar]...i had that issue on a few discs years ago, can't remember the specifics

but to further what robert mentioned, we do not allow rips of silvers here at TTD that were extracted with a program that doesn't use error-correction [he listed the acceptable programs above]...
